Vivienne McDonald

Vivienne has worked in the health and aged care sector for over 30 years including roles in nursing, community care, aged care, management and business development in Australia and in the UK. She held a senior position in Victoria with the Royal District Nursing Service for over twenty years before moving to Queensland. Vivienne has extensive experience working with people from Cultural and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds. She is a registered nurse and has an Advanced Diploma in Business, a Diploma in Management and is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.

Jenni Pickrell

Jenni has a background in Community Care and has worked, for several years, as Operations Manager and Community Development and Education Manager for a multicultural organisation in Queensland. She has a solid knowledge of the Home Care Package and Commonwealth Home Support Programmes and is currently studying for her Bachelor of Dementia Care.

She recently lead and managed a team of Community Care Coordinators, Case Managers, Allied Health and Nursing staff as well as Project Officers.  Her extensive experience includes ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal government agencies, including reporting on outputs, acquittal of funds and maintaining of records.

Jenni has tertiary qualifications in Business (HR), Education and Training, Aged, Disability and Community Care, Rehabilitation & Occupational Health and Safety.

Karien Kleemann

Karien has worked in Human Resources with a state-wide aged care residential provider for over five years.  Prior to this Karien worked in Human Resources for seven years in the private sector mainly in hospitality and tourism.  Karien’s experience has given her exposure to all facets of Human Resources and Workplace Health & Safety areas and workplace injury management. Karien has a Bachelor of Business with a major in Human Resources.    

 

Nanette Desaubin

Nanette Desaubin

Nanette’s journey in the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) arena started in the Seychelles where she was born and raised in a melting pot of British, French and African cultures. She brings to Diversicare, valuable experience in all aspects of financial and treasury accounting, strategic planning and business management from various operations in Australia, USA, UK and New Zealand. Australian-specific experience also includes statutory obligations such as corporate tax, audits and compliance reporting. Nanette is CPA qualified with a Graduate Certificate of Management from Deakin University. As a Board Member and Treasurer of the Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health for four years, she gained experience in the Not for Profit Sector. Nanette has also worked as a volunteer facilitator of a Money Program with people struggling with their finances.

Rachel Mackie

Quality Assurance Officer

Rachel Mackie

Rachel has extensive experience in Quality Management and direct service provision in community service agencies. She has worked or volunteered in the areas of youth, social housing, aged care, and mental health in both the not-for-profit sector and Government. Rachel holds tertiary qualifications in Human Services and Community Services Management. She has recently commenced a Masters of Business in Philanthropy and Non Profit Studies.
