Elijah Buol, an ECCQ Board Director, is one of 755 Australians who received a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) on Australia Day. At 33 years old, he is the youngest person in Queensland to receive one.
He was also named the 2019 Queensland Local Hero in the prestigious Australian of the Year Awards.
