About the role

We are seeking an experienced Central Support Officer on a Full-Time basis, to be the first point of contact for anyone requiring services offered by Diversicare.  This role will successfully monitor and maintain incoming referrals and ensure efficient, professional and timely services are provided to Diversicare’s current and potential clients.  The role is responsible for the delivery of rostering related services to competently meet the needs of Diversicare consumers and brokerage services working within service and budget guidelines.

The Central Support Officer role delivers collaborative care for consumers with a wellness and enablement focused approach in line with Commonwealth Home Support Program guidelines including facilitating services to assist the consumer to continue being active and remain independent within their community.

Candidates who have worked in the Non-Profit/Aged Care industry will be highly regarded.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Previous general service provision experience, including the monitoring of online government referrals;
  • Previous experience in Administration and Rostering, with a high level of customer service;
  • Professional telephone manner and ability to manage Rostering within a set budget;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of legislative requirements within Community Aged Care;
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Proven prior experience working in line with clinical quality compliance standards;
  • Ability to work well in multi-disciplinary team environments;
  • High attention to detail.
